The Heat exchanger is designed to exchange heat from one medium to another. If the heat exchanger is dirty or not maintained, it fails at this job, which increases costs to operate, stresses other parts of the systems, and reduces efficiency.

Heat exchangers should be serviced every 6 months - 4 years, depending on their environment. For instance, where dust is a factor, a heat exchanger needs opening and cleaning every 6 months.

Cleaning of Heat Exchanger Tubes and Shells

Tube Testing, Plugging and NDT Services

We achieve this using the G-160 Tube Testing Gun, a high-performance, pneumatic-hydraulic tool used to quickly and safely test individual tubes in shell-and-tube heat exchangers, condensers, and boilers. It allows for efficient detection of tube leaks by sealing both ends of a tube and pressurizing it with air or nitrogen while submerged in water (hydrostatic test) or using soap solution for above-ground tests.

Flange Facing Services

A flange facer is a tool that creates a flat and parallel surface on flanges to ensure a tight seal, and is important because it helps maintain the integrity of flange joints Flange facing is an essential machining operation that creates new, perfectly flat, and parallel coupling surfaces on the flanges of pipes, valves, and other equipment, ensuring a tight and secure seal when reassembled.

This process is accomplished using a special tool called a flange facing tool, flange facing machine, or flange facer. It is also used by many other industries during plant and heat exchanger maintenance and shutdown.
